1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII

We have recently purchased a 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII. The last of the Big Healeys built, benefiting from the later cockpit layout and the more practical roof. This car is fitted with a six cylinder 2912cc engine, manual gearbox and overdrive, painted in two tone, red over old English white, red leather interior and walnut dash. The Austin-Healey 3000 Mark II was produced from 1961, ours is the 2+2 model the BT7 Mark IIA. The first 3000 model was launched in 1959 and the models before that go back to 1952 when the Austin Healey 100 was first introduced.Based on the original 50ís design the Austin Healey 3000 MK II was the first of the 3000 range with a proper convertible hood and wind up windows instead of side screens.
