A very smooth ride from our 3.5 litre automatic 350SL, and classic German good looks. One lady owner from new until we bought the car in 2005, this 1979 model feels like it’s just out of the showroom.
The 350SL uses the 3499cc V8 engine mated to an automatic gearbox, and S-Class suspension was used for improved ride comfort in keeping with the overall shift towards luxury in the SL range. Top speed of 128mph and 0-60 of 8.1secs gives excellent performance, and with the soft top being in excellent condition you really can make the most of this car anytime of the year.
In our showroom, the 350SL is always kept next to the Rolls Royce, continuing a relationship they’ve enjoyed for the last 30 years!
