In 1955 Coachbuilder Karmann came up with the idea of producing a pretty Coupe based on a Beetle floorpan. With tough mechanics and pretty styling the Karmann Ghia was manufactured until 1974 with almost 500,000 cars produced. Our car has the 1570 cc flat four air cooled motor with lively performance. Undergoing a compete nut and bolt body off rebuild by a renowned German restorer in 2007/2008 and imported into the UK by the owner a local enthusiast.
