Located in the heart of England, Cambridgeshire is situated in East Anglia. Home to prestigious Cambridge University, the historic cities of Cambridge and Peterborough, and quintessentially English small towns, the ceremonial county is a perfect place to visit. We are located in the south of the county, close to Cambridge and the film location of British ITV detective drama set in the 1950s, Grantchester. As the gateway to East Anglia, there is plenty of choice of places to visit in Cambridgeshire with its fenland landscapes, grand houses, lush farmland and a myriad of waterways, and wildlife. Central Scotland
Caledonian Classics is located in central Scotland, just 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport and one hour from Glasgow. Our nearest train stations are Stirling and Dunfermline, both fifteen minutes drive away.
Our home and base at Dollar in Clackmannanshire is also the site of our four star bed and breakfast business, Kennels Cottage. From St Andrews, the home of golf, head north through atmospheric glens where battles were fought to snow capped mountain ranges and famous lochs. Or travel to the pretty west coast and its islands you have heard about in ancient songs such as Mull, Arran and Skye. And don´t forget the famous malt whisky trail!
Finally, on your travels take the time to enjoy splendid true Scottish food such as Loch Fyne oysters, mussels, langoustines and scallops, magnificent wild salmon and Aberdeen Angus beef.
Cotswolds and The Westcountry
Vintage Classics is located in Wiltshire, a beautiful part of the West Country on the southern edge of the idyllic Cotswolds, close to the beautiful and historic Georgian City of Bath and within easy reach of Somerset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Dorset.
Just ten miles from Junction 17 of the M4 Motorway and a little over an hour from London Paddington, Vintage Classics is close to countryside designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and we have three world heritage sites on our doorstep. Furthermore, there are many fine hotels and B&Bs in the region.
Marvel at the gloriously quintessential English countryside at its very best and explore it by taking a leisurely drive in one of our splendid classic cars.
Take in the scenic views at Cheddar Gorge or the ancient stones of Stonehenge and Avebury. Visit the mystical Tor at Glastonbury and maybe stop in a picturesque Cotswold village for a cream tea.
A visit to Wiltshire should also include the National Trust villages of Lacock and Castle Combe used by many film and TV productions including Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and the BBC drama, Cranford.

Glasgow
Based at Glasgow airport Retro & Classic Car Hire are ideally placed to explore Dumfries & Galloway to the south or Fort William, Loch Lomond and Glencoe to the north.
Leicestershire and Rutland
Leicetershire and Rutland comprises of green rolling hills and hedges. Rutland has two towns in it; Uppingham and Oakham which are both worth a visit. Slightly further afield are the picturesque towns of Oundle and Stamford, which are both stone. There are several stately homes to call in at with rich history, such as Belvoir and Rockingham Castle.
Northumberland, Newcastle & Durham
Northumbria Classics are based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, close to the picturesque counties of Northumberland and Durham. Easily accessible via the A1 M motorway, by train to Newcastle Central or plane to Newcastle International Airport. If you are a visitor from Scandinavia/Holland/Belgium/Germany we are located just 10 miles from North Shields DFDS ferry service (Imjuiden- Amsterdam).
We have a superb range of classic cars for self-drive hire and film/studio work. Northumberland is the northernmost county in England and the most remote. The country lanes and B roads take you back to driving in the 1950s, with very little traffic amidst beautiful and varied scenery.
The attractions are many and varied: Lindisfarne, Hadrian’s Wall, 30 miles of beautiful coastline, and more castles than any other county in England including Alnwick, Bamburgh, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Chillingham.
